What is the LOMA Society of Central Illinois?
The LOMA Society of Central Illinois includes a cross-section of over 1500 financial services professionals who work primarily in the life and health insurance industries in and around central Illinois. Our members have demonstrated a commitment to their careers by earning (or working towards) any of the many designations offered by LOMA. We represent a broad spectrum of individuals that work at various companies located in the cities of Bloomington/ Normal, Pekin, Peoria and Springfield.

Who can be a member of the Society?
Anyone who has earned or is working towards earning any of the following designations: ACS, PCS, AFSI, FFSI, ALMI, FLMI, ARA, CPHLI, AAPA, AIRC, AAIA, and AIAF.
Why should I join?
As a dues paying member of the LOMA Society of Central Illinois, you have access to all the events offered throughout the year at a lower cost. Such events include luncheons and dinners with special keynote speakers from area businesses, and social events like golf outings and wine tasting. You’ll also make valuable business contacts and gain insight into how other businesses in the industry operate!
How much are the annual dues?
The 2008 annual dues are only $25 per member! And in most cases, member companies will pay your annual dues for you.
How do I sign up?
Notes on Dues
Your dues is crucial for our continued operation and we greatly appreciate you paying dues at application, in some cases your company will pay your annual dues of $25 on your behalf. However, dues is not required to become a LSCI member, but event costs will generally be $5 to $10 higher for members in a non-dues status.
Annual membership drive is in April and dues paid during that period are good for one year. If you are joining outside of that period we encourge you to contact us before submitting the application so we can work with you to decide what would be your best course of action.
